Self-care, treat yo’self, yolo… Some of my favorite things in life – and also some of the most mocked, belittled, and convoluted ideals. When in reality, it might be exactly what you need… Lately I have transitioned the way I coach my clients a lot. I have been doing a lot of self-development work, a […]
Most of the clients I see struggle with intimacy; they have what are called attachment difficulties. Some of them are predominately avoidant, meaning that tend to try hard to be self-suffiencent and tell themselves that they can make it on their own; and, others are predominately anxious, meaning that they tend to cling to their […]
It’s been a while since I have posted something. It has been a little crazy for me. I have a super demanding life, and I am not able to demand anythings for myself. I realize that I am needing…
I am needing to feel connected to someone and something.
I am needing to take care of myself. I need to run again and feel that rush again.
I am needing to get out. I go from home to work, from work to home, and again, day after day. I need to go out and meet people. That is not easy for a painful introvert, but I need to do it.
I am needing to pamper myself. I am always last on my list.
I am needing adventure. I have several things in the works, but after those, I need to continue to do things that are outside the ordinary and things that scare me.
I will post more about the things I have in the works, but that’s all for now.
Ugh. I am not as cheerful this morning. My bed is so hard to left. Ok, here we go. What am I thankful for this morning? Having a comfy bed and fluffy pillows. I hope you weren’t looking for something profound. Today, I’m not feeling profound.
I will not fall for the scams in this world. There are so many scams and cults out there. They swear that they can cure diseases and lead you to happiness. Screw that! If you are sick, seek medical attention. If you are unhappy, understand this one thing, happiness is an inside job. There isn’t anyone that controls your happiness except for you. I won’t fall for it. I hope you won’t either.
Good morning everyone. It’s August 6th and my now, no one is thinking about those pesky New Year resolutions. You’re either still smoking, not going to the gym, or still over spending. No judgement. There has been only one New Years resolution I have kept. It may seem like a small thing, but every morning I take a second and look at what I am truly grateful for. Doing this helps feel a little better and puts a smile on my face.
This morning, like many mornings, I lay in bed and think about the small list of things that makes me say thank you. Today I am thank for coffee and being able to wake up early this morning. Normally, I am not an early morning person. I’m usually lucky to get up 30 minutes before I have to be at work. This morning, I did not have to rely on my seven, yes seven alarms. I woke up feeling great.
That’s all I have for now.
Good morning everyone.
I’m usually not this cheerful on a Monday morning, or any morning for that matter.
I’m focused this morning. The goal for today is productivity. I will go into work today, looking amazing, with my head held high, ready to get a mountain of work completed.
I will then come home and play with the kiddos. Basketball and roller skating.
After the kiddos are in bed, I will pull out the 10 year old computer (yes, it’s ten years old and still works). I will do a final read through of my pilot script to get it ready to send off.
I’m on a mission.
